Pierce County Shooting refers to the entrapment and shooting of two police officers in the vicinity of Eatonville. Sheriff’s office rep confirmed that the attacker has also been killed in the exchange of fire.

When the officers were dispatched by the helicopters to nearby hospitals, they were already in life threatening condition.

The police officers responded to a call of domestic disturbance. As they reached the house a person asked the officers to come inside while his brother went upstairs and picked the gun.

He waited the officers to come upstairs and at the sight of officers shot them with multiple rounds of bullets.

The officers at the sight of man opening the fire, also shot the attacker. Reportedly much firing was heard.

Police authorities denied the impression that more than one shooter was involved in the incident. Immediate investigation into the incident has been launched. Investigations into the incident would not stop in the night.

Police authorities called the incident especially an unfortunate one as the incident has occurred just a month after an incident in which four police officers were killed in the same style. There is some suspicion that both the incidents are linked in some way, however nothing has been confirmed as yet. Authorities said that the families of the police officers shot, should not feel themselves alone. They said that they are standing by with the family members.
