City foresters will begin work this morning to remove 19 trees that were destroyed or damaged Tuesday night at Spring Canyon Community Park in southwest Fort Collins.

On Wednesday, many of the trees were bent in half, their trunks hacked part way and then broken. Others lay on the ground, severed.
